Análisis de diseño
The EIT mark is a typographic logotype built around the three-letter initialism, rendered in a custom sans-serif with distinctive geometric detailing — most notably the horizontal bar of the 'E' and the crossbar of the 't' extending into a continuous underline that links all three characters. This connecting stroke acts as a visual metaphor for integration, echoing the institute's mandate to bridge education, research, and business. The letterforms are monoline, open, and widely spaced, ensuring legibility at small sizes on digital screens and printed reports alike. The absence of a separate symbol means the name itself carries full recognition weight, a pragmatic choice for an EU body that must function across 24 official languages without cultural bias.

The palette pairs a vivid yellow-green (#6DB22D) with a deep institutional blue (#164194). Green signals sustainability, growth, and the clean-tech sectors the EIT prioritises, while blue anchors the mark in the established visual language of the European Union (the EU flag's blue field). Together they avoid the cliché dark-blue-only tech look, injecting optimism without sacrificing governmental credibility. Both hues meet WCAG AA contrast against white, ensuring accessibility in public-sector communications.
