Make an SVG smaller
without changing the picture

Lossless by default: no segment is removed, moved or re-chosen, and no coordinate is rounded. Only the spelling changes. When you want more bytes than that, refit the geometry within a tolerance you set — and see exactly what it cost.

Decimals per coordinate

Auto derives the precision from the tolerance. Setting a number rounds every coordinate to it — which does change the drawing, even in lossless mode.

Shortens colours, drops presentation attributes that only restate an inherited value, and removes comments, <metadata> and whitespace. It removes nothing that renders and nothing a screen reader speaks.

Drop an SVG, paste some markup, or try the sample — a deliberately wasteful export with comments, metadata and nine-decimal coordinates. Results appear here, with a wipe you can drag across the original to check the claim yourself.

What it costs, measured

Lossless mode changes no pixel — dE00 is exactly 0, not "almost zero" — and still saves 14.9% of the bytes over the reference corpus of 40 artist-drawn SVGs. Refitting the curves at the default tolerance saves 23.5%.

Those are published figures for those 40 files. They are not a prediction for yours — the only figures that describe your file are the ones the engine reports above, after it has run on it.

Need the SVG in the first place?

Our vectorizer turns a PNG or JPG logo into a clean SVG, with the same engine and the same choice of where it runs. And if what you actually need is a logo, that is what we do.
